Our guided 2.5-hour St Maarten Local Rum & Food Tour visits 5 food & rum tasting locations – each carefully chosen to highlight the best local flavors St Maarten has to offer, enough for a hearty brunch/ lunch. You’ll have an exclusive opportunity to learn about the rum & foods from the charismatic entrepreneurs, chefs, and local artisans.
Stops include – a "go to" breakfast stop for locals in the heart of Philipsburg serving traditional local classics: salt fish, corn beef and island bush tea, trendy Caribbean restaurants serving tasteful selects of seafood and roadside grill favorites and the island’s favorite artisan rums. All food tastings are included in the ticket price as well a Caribbean beer, soft drink or water at each food stop.
Between tastings, you will gain insights into the island's cultural atmosphere as you enjoy local folklore and historical highlights while strolling along the charming streets of downtown Philipsburg. Our passionate, local guides share their knowledge and recommendations of hidden gems and top venues for live music and exciting local attractions and restaurants.
Starting point is at the Captain Hodge pier at the Cyrus Wathey Square (in front of the Court House if you're familiar with the island). You will meet your guide at the St Maarten Tourist Information booth found here. If you are arriving via cruise, the Captain Hodge pier is just 2 minutes away via water taxi from the cruise port.
Tour ends on the Philipsburg Board Walk so you can continue to enjoy your day at the beach, sipping cocktails at a beach side restaurant or shopping in the heart of Philipsburg.

Once confirmed, your booking is non-refundable. Under normal circumstances, tours cannot be canceled or rescheduled. However, if tours are canceled due to severe inclement weather (such as a storm or hurricane), we will be glad to reschedule your tour or refund your purchase.
